History Manipulation Techniques in a Pen-Optimized User Interface
Bachelor's thesis on pen-optimized undo/redo, evaluated across two apps.
For my Bachelor’s thesis at the Sensing, Interaction & Perception Lab (SIPLAB), ETH Zürich, I designed multiple pen-optimized history manipulation techniques as an alternative to regular undo/redo. I built two applications as testbeds — a drawing app and a flight search app — and ran a user study comparing my techniques against standard undo/redo, showing they outperformed it in multiple aspects.
